Traction control lights/ACD lights on the evo8

So I have a 2005 evo 8, and the ACD lights(tarmac, gravel, snow) are all lit up at the same time, when only one is suppose to be lit up at a time based on what you set it at... It's throwing a code, and the only way to have it checked is at a dealership...But nothing feels wrong with the car whatsoever. Has anyone else heard of this problem or dealt with it themselves?

Your ACD system either needs bleeding or your pump is toast. Get a recent clutch job?

Yeah I got one done about a year ago and thats when it started...midwest performance did it, so I thought it was legit.... but the clutch also makes a horrible noise in first gear like a metal on metal sound...its hard to explain, but that started at the same time...i brought it back and they said it wasn't their fault

Sounds to me like they didn't bleed the ACD sytem properly. Hopefully it didn't burn out the pump. Bleed it yourself with the how-to or have the dealership do it for about $100. Then send the shop that did your clutch the bill :)

Same thing with mine but 40k after a clutch swap. 2005's seem to have ACD issues up the ying yang sooner or later. Buy a new or used ACD pump, swap it in (messy, but not too hard), bleed it properly and you're good to go.

You aren't hurting anything by just driving it as-is, but its worth fixing, I promise!

Who is Midwest Performance? Sounds like they may not have known what they were doing.

I have heard of him, I have never seen him or his car though, and I am out quite often.

I'm not surprised it's noisy.

1. it's an aftermarket clutch
2. solid hub

My clutch makes no noises resembling nails on a chalkboard...
