LC1 issues, why me?

Ok, i am on my 2nd LC1, i have soldered the white and blue ground wires together to be grounded.

I have a power distribution block that is turned on by a relay and powered from the battery, I have the signal wire from the radio so that I get power at both acc. and on key positions.

The sensor is in the downpipe about 12" from the turbo and the sensor box is behind the drivers headlight.

I am getting random Error 8 codes, which is over-heating or over-cooling or just bad sensor.

Usually when i get a code the WB will lock at 14.7, I have had this happen with the car just sitting, just cruising and during a pull. Normally it just happens on a pull when the car knocks, usually a max of 3 deg. if/when it does.

I got this wideband because it operates well with DSMlink, I used to have the NGK AFX, but i didnt like the big display unit.
I currently have my WB installed where the stock water temp would be, and my other gauges where the hvac controls were, the car looks very clean and stock in appearance and I'm hoping to keep it that way so I'd love to keep this LC1 but these constant issues are killing me.

Looking at replacements, AEM seems to be too thick and the NGK I'd need an external gauge and just tap into the sensor wire that would be used to datalog in link.

If anyone wants to come by and check the install, please do I've had enough of this damn wideband that has put me 2 weeks behind schedule.

Thanks for reading
Aaron

Are you getting a lot of water out of your exhaust?

The Innovate stuff does have a lot of sensor and controller failures, but your problems seem much worse than normal.

Do you have a voltmeter to test voltages/grounds between everything? When you say 'just sitting there' you mean just idling, or what?

Actually I am getting what seems to be a lot of water out of the exhaust, do u think this could be the issue?
How could I reduce this amount?

Yes, when I called their tech support they had me measure a lot of grounds, yes I meant idling, sorry.

It will just randomly give me a code E8, but this water thing has me intrigued as the car does seem to give off a good bit of water.

That's interesting about the water/condensation. You're sure there's no coolant leaks I would assume, would it be an exhaust design that would cause more water build up or anything like that? Does the sensor site at the bottom of the pipe or the top like Evo's?

It's weird to me that your car is pooping out a lot of water :(

The sensor is angled slightly downward above 90 degrees.

Its about 12 in the downpipe, same place my NGK was and that had no issues.

I am going to try and get my bung rewelded to about the 11'o clock position and make a heatsink, after that I'm done.
