97spyder82 - Tony Keller = BAD!

Heres the deal, Tony K(I won't disclose full name at this point) or 97spyder82 decided he wanted to "buy" my turbo setup. Which is the DNP manifold and other misc parts i got from swifty, the 6776h turbo from santa, and a wg i got off from some kid off mnsc.

He ends up taking the turbo from me cause he "needed" to get his car out of map. Me being a good friend said sure, take the setup. But he said he was waiting for his mom to get some check from buying a new house or something like that? I dunno. So i said. Ok, well get me the money when you can.

Months and months go by and apparently he took it up to primo to get it coated and all this other crap before he even paid me a single penny. Well now it's up at primo and all coated over $700 worth apparently what he has posted on his CL ad. Basically he stole the shit from me. I can't afford $700 for his damn doings of getting it coated.

So now it sits at Primo and is for sale on CL. WTF do I do? Thats over 1200 of my stuff.

here is the ad:

I also sent a message to my brother's g/f whose mom is a lawyer. So hopefully I can persue something about this but the only thing is I don't have reciepts.

Go to Primo and take it, simple as that.

Yea I would see if Primo can work something out with you. How much did you originally agree on for the sale price to him?

Re: What do I do in this situation?

I PM'd Primo quoting your first post so they're aware of the situation.

Go get your stuff from Primo ASAP, contact them and tell them that is your stuff and you are the rightful owner of it so they do not give it to anyone else.

Re: What do I do in this situation?

Yup, take it back and if then make the other dude pay for the coating costs.

Re: What do I do in this situation?

Problem is I doubt Primo isn't going to let the stuff go w/o someone paying for the coating first, no way this kid is going to pay for it if you take the turbo back, and no way he's going to pay you for it since he's trying to sell it.

Re: What do I do in this situation?

The shitty part is, they (Primo) needs to get paid for this shit before they can just let $700 worth of work leave their possession. This Tony guy needs his fuckin ass beat IMO.

I guess the only good thing is that no cheap ass DSM'er is going to buy that stuff for that price (Or that Primo would even let it leave their building without payment)

Re: What do I do in this situation?

In that case I say try to work something out with Primo to pay for part of the bill so you can get your stuff back and let Primo deal with getting the rest from this guy.

Re: What do I do in this situation?

Apparently he also owes swifty some work paycheck and another guy the rest of his car money. I'll keep you guys posted. thanks for bringing this to the attn of primo!

Re: What do I do in this situation?

What i would do is tell primo to let you know right when he pays the $700 for coating, then when the coating is paid for, then go get your shit, and hold it until you have his cash in your hands.

Re: What do I do in this situation?

The car, which wasn't even his, got abandoned here and the bill was never paid. The legitimate owner of the car (guess we should do some background checks before performing work?) finally got in touch with us and just recently took possession the car, it was here for months. Unfortunately the actual owner got left with the bill that Tony racked up, I would avoid the kid at all costs.

He won't be ripping off anyone else here...

What a douche. Can the person's full name be posted so that he may be avoided by any future business dealings with him?

Re: 97spyder82 - Tony K. = BAD!

We are working with Pat on this, Unfortunately I cannot let the items go without The coatings being paid for. The bill for just the coatings is less then the $700 in the OP. Had we known that the parts were not actually his this would not have happened. We will do what we can to resolve the situation on our end.

Actually the car you bought was his cousins. And actually accrued the other half of said bill. We did alot of things to that car with the intensions of having it payed for when he picked up the turbo. And now all of this. Taught me a good lesson tho. Enjoy that things it's a really nice car IMO.
