That was hard to read. Ugh.

I didnt see anything about seat belts being worn or not? But its hard to imagine being thrown from the vehicle if they had been wearing them? It stated 2 people were ejected.. the father and the driver?

Re: Sad story of an evo test drive

yeah the father and the driver (salesman).
The story is horrible. I will never let the sales guy drive when i go test drive a car. I dont have a chauffeur so therefore i dont plan on spending time in the back. And the minute the guy talks about "getting it sideways" im out of the sale.
Another shitty thing about the story is the stupid comments some people were making. Just plain stupid.

It just goes to show how irresponsible people have become. :(

This actually was touching and severely disturbing. Im confused. . . so the sales man thought he knew how to drive?!!? and ended up air boring the car crashing. . .and severely injuring the guys dad? What happened to the sales man!? That is crazy. . .discussing the molester story and drivers record having anything to do with it, might not be very appropriate at this point but i disagree to an extend.

Ha you read the comments BELOW! Retards!

This is very sad indeed. i would guess the kid was the only one with a seatbelt if the other two were ejected?

I'm with Tom, if the guy starts talking about getting it sideways, not only would I not want him driving but I'd assume the car was beat to shit and walk away.

The salesguy will get his come upings though...man this sucks.

So people weren't irresponsible in the past?

Not to the extent that exists today. Selfishness has run amok.

Ugh that was tough to read....seats people seatbelts! People need to be so so so so so careful when having fun on public roads---it's not your road, it's a public road! Be careful!

It's funny. I think it's a western problem, as I've noticed the opposite is true here in S.E. Asia. People go out of their way to help you if you need it.

Interesting... I often wonder how much of the attitudes people around me exude are limited to our focused culture. You're in China now?

I surely wasn't talking about the rest of the world as I have no idea how they are in general. We, as in our country and the American society.

It doesn't say anything about being an Evo, although it doesn't really matter. That salesman should be charged with wreckless driving and at least involuntary manslaughter.

Gosh RECKLESS DRIVING IS SUCH A HARSH TERM! I feel like a serial killer getting a ticket like that :( MY AUTO TECH CAREER IS DONE! & I haven't even been convicted yet and its done lol. I HAD NIGHT MARES ABOUT IT TODAY! People are becoming more selfish that's for sure though.

^^ Umm, what? Back on topic: That was a really sad story, and that salesman/dealership would be owing me a hell of a lot of money...

What a stupid employee. Clearly he couldn't handle the car, he shouldn't try and show it off to the customers. Besides, who wants to buy a car thats been beat on by THE DEALER?

Very sad that the father died, I hope his son gets what he should have.

It was a off topic comment for sure. Reckless driving is no joke! I was just stating the fact that someone that killed someone is charged with the same charge as someone that was racing or speeding. Heck even remotely close to anything similar as mentioned, might of not hurt any one but gets the same title slapped on i just feel the charge is slightly unbalanced. Of course you have diffrent forms of reckless driving to an employer they are all just as bad. . .
