E85: Now or Later

The budget is tight to finish the car and I don't think I'm going to have enough to upgrade injectors. So here are my two options.

A) Use my current injectors, get tuned on 92 now. Upgrade injectors later, retune on e85.
or
B) Use my current injectors, get tuned on e85 now. Upgrade injectors later, retune.

I know both require a retune. I think it makes sense to switch to E85 now, even though I'll only be able to tune for a 550cc injector.

If you're only going to be running 560cc injectors for now I would stick to 92oct pump until you can get bigger injectors

What if I had a set waiting for me, I just needed a few weeks to break in the clutch and save some cash up?

I'd wait to make the switch to e85 once the bigger injectors are in.

I agree. I would also wait until the bigger injectors are in. Trying to run e85 on such small injectors will probably cause more harm than good

I think waiting is a good call. I found a good price on some 1100's. So I'll just throw the motor in and wait for the injectors. Motor should be out, apart and back together by the end of the weekend.

I think Speedfreak on here might have a set of 1200's he's trying to get rid of. Everyone wants the high-z stuff now a days, so you could probably find a deal on a used set of low-z ones I'd think.
