evo 8 log. Front o2 shit out?
 

Hey I’m sure my front o2 is crapping out. I don’t have a cell yet but I’m running a 10-10.9 afr going down the road and my plugs are black. Check out the log. As you can see on the front 02 voltages they just drop to 00 and also it gets stuck at .39 every once and a while. It bogs around and i get a cel for knock almost any time i get into boost. I know the loaded v7 tune is good as I was running it for all last summer with no problems.

Does e85 help screw up 02 sensors? That could be part of the problem as it is a dual map tune.

I just want to be sure before i order a new one from oxeygensensors.com.

E85 is fairly easy on O2 sensors, oil and lead kills them fast. It does sound like yours is bad though. It should be reading like 1.00v at those AFRs.

Swap out the o2 sensor, OEM is like $150-200, Bosch universal 4-wire from o'reily's will do the trick at $50 and some simple wiring.

Ok ill put in a order for one.
Do you think because it is not 100% dead is why I’m not getting a cel?

FYI Oxygen Geeks has a direct replacement for ~$50.

Ok i got a bosh 4wire coming to a Napa about a block from my house. For 52 bucks. I don’t think that’s a bad deal.

Replaced it and it did fix the problem. FYI take the radiator out first before attempting to get it out!
Now to sort out my tune and add the 3 port and I’ll be ready for the cruise. Thanks for the help all.
