Bradco Torque Converter Dyno Tests
I just finished converting my car to an auto. The setup is the same as last year, except the car has an auto transmission with a Bradco converter and a kiggly flex plate. I also did change my twin walbro 255s to Aeromotive 340s. Besides those everything is the same including boost and fuel. Took the car to the dyno to see what kind of power loss I am going to get and was pleased with the results. Special Thanks to Shane for his vodoo tuning skills :)
Manual - 859.8 WHP Auto - 728 WHP Loss - 15.33 % The car has a 2.45 Long rod (Pauter/Ross), Eagle crank, Kelford 276/280, Mangus Cast intake, FIC2150s, Twin Aeromotive 340lph pumps, Dynatec ARC, Garret 4" FMIC, PTE 6266 DBD (T3), Punishment Header and 3.5 downpipe. The shifting is done with forcedfour.com shiftbox plus. Re: Bradco Torque Converter Dyno Tests
It is interesting that the auto spools so much later. What is the stall on the TC? Get some good video when you head to the track!
