The first all-new gen 6 2016 Camaro gets delivered!

This is what I was doing on Saturday @ Texas Motor Speedway!

The guy who took delivery has been a very good friend of mine for years; I couldn't be more excited for him! Absolutely amazing car, leaps & bounds ahead of the gen 5 (2010-2015). This was #33 off the assembly line, 1-32 are all press/GM test vehicles.

I got a dumb question. How does chevy name the engines exactly? Does LT1 mean something specifically different than LS1? Didn't they used to be called LT engines like 20 years ago? Did they change something that makes them more like the old LT engines or is it just completely random, decided it was time for a letter change?

I love when Danica steps out and your friend is like waaaahhh! I can totally see him thinking hard about not trying to get a woody haha. "I'm here to hand deliver" awww yeah!

That car looks damn nice. I don't think he will be trading this like the evos lol.

You'd have to be Danica's size to Dukes of Hazard into the driver seat of a new Camaro. I just can't get passed those tiny ass side windows. :(

Once you see the car in person, there isn't a single thing better about the gen5 vs. the new gen6. Visibility is improved, plus they added optional blind spot alerts, backup sensors, camera, etc.
