Reason I post this is for winter mods.

After the motor/Brakes get done. I'll then be looking at having a cage installed. Which will require me stripping out the interior, and I'll be doing 5poing Camlock seat belts as well. At which time would be great to change the colors Scheme of my car. Especially since most of my Yellow item's are getting old and worn out anyways so they could use replacing.

I'm not exactly sure when the cage will get done but hopefully while my motors getting built. as I'd like to strip the interior completly get the cage installed and then paint it.

If I swap colors I'm going to be keeping with the sparco theme and everything that's Yellow will be changed to Black.

Items I'd go with will be:
-Sparco Pull down camlock Lap Belt - Black
http://www.sparcousa.com/pharness_comp.asp?id=234

-Sparco 48" Shoulder harness's - Black
http://www.sparcousa.com/pharness_comp.asp?id=235

-Sparco Bio Chrome Shift Knob - Black/Chrome
http://www.sparcousa.com/ptuning_knobs.asp?id=306

-Sparco Crono Pedals - Black/Chrome
http://www.sparcousa.com/ptuning_pedals.asp?id=565

-Sparco Flash 5 Steering wheel - Black/Polished
http://www.sparcousa.com/psteering_street.asp?id=161

or

-Sparco Mugello Steering Wheel - Black/Polished

Just thought of something else. All the pieces that are Yellow can be swapped with the Black 99 Stock OEM parts so I wouldn't need to paint them.

Which means a little less rice for all you haters out there.

You should get that wheel over the flash 5.

Yellow =barf.

I like black/white/silver.

I'd love to get ride of the Grey Dash and get that in Black. But I don't know how hard that would be to remove/replace/paint.

I'd preferably love to stay away from the painting as maintaining it is a PIA. So I just have to find a crashed 99 black interiored parts car locally.

i love the black dash.. however mine is black/tan not black/black..

if you can find a black/black that would be awesome..

Well if you know my car. The Dash is Grey, then the underside (ie: glovebox, steering column, etc) is all white.

So basically all the yellow accents will be changed to Black, the Dash I'd love to change to black if it's cheap enough, and then misc parts would be Black/Chrome/polished.

My amps are Chrome and I'd change the Amp Rack/Sub Box to Black as well. I think it would look Sweet being primarily White/Black with Chrome/Polished accents.

If I can keep the interior that is with the Cage otherwise I'll have to see about sheetmetaling the interior so it doesn't look so bad. But eitherway I'd still try to stick with the Whole Primarily white intirior even if I sheet metal (ie: I'd have it painted or powdercoated white)

Check out these pedals as well - http://www.autovation.net/products/Mitsubi...edals/main.html

They can be had with or without the "Turbo" engraving.

Um NO! :headache: .....j/k

I'm sticking with Sparco theme. I still into the show as much as go and I'd like to get rid of as much mix/matching as possible

Come on no one likes the yellow? :goodluck:

sleepydsm 09-28-2004 02:56 PM

I'm not a fan of yellow... Black/white would be much better, but just OEM black would be best!

SlowWhite 09-28-2004 03:27 PM

enes,

Can you post pictures of your interior so I know exactly which parts come black on the 99's.

Thanks

1slowdsm 09-28-2004 03:48 PM

I'm not a big fan of the yellow theme either. I'd stick with the black...but thats just my opinion.

Those pedals arent looking too bad also, but $104 for just a set of 4 pedals is a little too much for me right now. I might get some next year when I get a little money saved up over winter.

Khadgar 09-28-2004 03:54 PM

Brian

I think all the pieces come black on select 99's

For the rest of the years, the tan has always had a black dash and some other black pieces just up front?

Correct me if I am wrong.
