Cliff notes: Theives broke into RRE's shop, stealing EVERYTHING... Parts, computers, tools, you name it. Two personal vehicles were also stolen. Another business in the same building was also burglarized. Be on the lookout for their parts being sold.

That is crazy! They have no security or what? Youd think they would being such a large company (compared to other shops).

I met a bunch of the guys from there at the Socal DSM meet, thats too bad.
No comment on one of the guys, but there is a reason i wont take my car there.

Thanks for the support guys. I asked Boe to post cause I was so busy putting it together at the shop. They got into the motorsports shop only. Not RRE or Service shop. Cops found another truck that was stolen from our neighbors so we went out last night looking where they dumped it. Cop are on it but...... we lost a lot of uninsured stuff unfortunately. We are fully operational and by end of the week should have our inventory mostly back. Please continue business. We expect one or two delay on most thing now. All customer info is secure on a remote server and actually they left the most important tower behind. It is a blown V- 8 in a Pinto looking tower case! I really apreciate the support. We need it. Gabe and I feel Throwing our cookies still and at least we now we have support. keep and eye out for Lancer stuff and T-28 turbos. These guys stole stuff they had no idea what it was for so they will prolly not have any luck dumping it on a Honda shop. I will keep you posted

This sux, sounds like RRM was really cleaned out by the thieves. :rant:

Where's this shop located? I've never heard of RRM before. I'll be on the look out for cheap parts. I wouldnt have wanted my stuff to get stolen...thats a lot of parts right there. I hope those thieves get caught!

That's really sad. RRE is one of my 2 favorite shops. They give me great service and discounts. Hey maybe the thieves will call up RRE and ask to return some stuff without receipts and pull another QPR style arrest!!!
