*Winter Dyno Rates*

Anyone interested in winter, runs/tuning, rates are as follows:

1 run = $40
2 runs = $50
3 runs = $60

Anything after that is pretty much conisidered an hour which would be $90/hour.

*These rates are from now and will run until the end of February*

carltalon 11-16-2004 08:11 PM

Do these rates include Wideband usage or tuneing?

At-Least-It's-An-Evo 11-16-2004 10:39 PM

Yes. It includes the wideband. Tuning is $90/hour.

Goat Blower 11-17-2004 12:46 AM

Damn, I better get all my upgrades done before then, that's a good price.

Im sure I will bring my car there. I need to get new cams and some other goodies before then but I will bring it over before February Im sure. Just out of curiousity... How much experience you have with Evo's?

Alpine TSi 11-23-2004 08:53 PM

Can they even dyno an EVO? I thought there was a whole lot of stuff that had to be done in order to change one into FWD and involved practically destroying a T-Case. Or am I wrong?

Shane@DBPerformance 11-23-2004 10:30 PM

We don't have a welded VC for an EVO, so we can't dyno it. We have only tuned them on the street with a wideband.

carltalon 11-24-2004 09:42 PM

How far in advance do customers need to make an appointment?

Edit: This is'nt carltalon, he never logs out at my place. This is jeffescortlx.

Speedfreak 11-25-2004 01:30 AM

This time of year... not that much notice... let us know when you want to tune and it should work...

EvilEvo 11-26-2004 01:47 PM

What if I bring it with a welded VC... I know they got them out there for us Evo guys :) I assume you wont decline me then :)

Speedfreak 11-26-2004 03:45 PM

If you got ahold of a welded vc then I would think we would be willing to do the swap. Shane, John, Cher... what do you guys think?

slowHonduh 11-26-2004 05:11 PM

Count on seeing me up there before february......

bottom end built, 60-1, hondata, 500+whp on race and i'm not leaving until it's accomplished :)

carltalon 11-28-2004 09:01 PM

I'd like to make an appointment for Wednesday Dec 8th at around 10:00am. I should only need a hour max.
Please let me know if that will or will not work.

(This is jeffescortlx, the forum will not let carltalon log off, but he's coming with so let either of us know)

Thanks.

slowbubblecar 11-30-2004 11:55 PM

 confused by what you mean by that??

Super Bleeder!! 12-03-2004 09:58 PM

he means he'll believe it when he sees it, not too many street hondas have broke 500whp at elite

Shane@DBPerformance 12-03-2004 11:45 PM

Not too many Hondas have built motors, turbos that big, or are willing to run over 24psi on race gas. 500whp might be cutting it close with a 60-1. The H22 does have displacement on it's side, but it often doesn't keep making power forever on the topend like B series VTEC motors. Hopefully the H22 doesn't have the usual shitty Honda oil pump gear. It seems like everytime we make over 450whp on a Honda, the oil pump gear breaks soon after and fucks up the motor. Even the NSX has a problem with the oil pump gear.
