T3/T4 Header 2

This one is a more standard fitmenr for your average car that can still retain power steering and run a MAS w/ any extensive wiring, etc. Full SS contsruction. Wastegate placement will come up the middle between runners 2 and 3 in that open space.

You guys like them long-ass runners, huh? :D

You should lower the runners for #2 & #3 or say bye-bye to your carbon fiber hood or your paint on the factory hood, especially on a 2.4L.

These are just mock up's anyways. As far as 2G's go, trying to get anything to fit those is a lost cause, there's so much less room than a 1G

OK sorry to bring this back from the dead, but I'm curious about what everyones impression of these are. I'm more interested in his log manifolds. He got prices up on his site, and they are 250 or 300 depending on what style you get. That's just barely higher then the price I'd be getting an Evo manifold. Do people think these are going to crack as much as most other tubular ones do? Also i would guess these would flow a little better then say and Evo manifold. Here's a quick pic off his site of the 2 I'm talking about.

This one is for 250 http://www.straightlinespecialties.c...%209%20043.jpg

This is for 300 http://www.straightlinespecialties.c...%209%20016.jpg

Anyone want to give any insight on these? Just trying to consider all options before I buy anything, and these are priced a lot better then other tubular manifolds i've found out there. Also if PSI2HI sees this, are there any sort of warantees or anything? Because I guess my main concern would be cracking, just because I always hear about tubular ones cracking. Thanks.

Edited -- Not appropriate to redirect potential customers of SLS to another source in a thread he created.

They are made out of weld-el plumbing bends. Which are very strong, heavy and not prone to cracking. But those designs are probably not as good as a 2G or EVO 3 exhaust manifold. Are you looking for a Mitsu or T3/T4 manifold also? People will run shittier and cheaper designs like this just to be able to run a T3/T4, if you are running a Mitsu turbo though, there isn't any reason to switch unless you want to spend a lot of money on something that is definately better. The top manfold is a true log manifold, where all the ports share a common pipe, they are probably the least efficient design. Will it work though? Yes, just about any manifold works on a turbo car.

Re: T3/T4 Header 2

The turbo going on uses a mitsu housing. But right now the car still has the stock cracked manifold from 1991 on there. Just looking for a new manifold to put on with the new turbo, so either way I need to purchase a manifold. Whether it's a tubular, or a stock cast one. Thanks for the replies. I just wanted to ask because I'm trying to check all options out there, and these were priced pretty cheap.
