Coffee machine

I have been thinking about getting a coffee machine for home, Now I didn’t always like coffee but one day I woke up and had to have some. I started to go to "caribou" and other coffee shops and even started to drink the shit at work. I started looking online for the “best” coffee machine that I could afford and that made the best tasting coffee, and that’s still in debate. I cant decide if I want a standard drip machine or a cappuccino one. What do you have at home and what would you get?

I got my girlfriend a Senseo machine for her birthday, very reasonably priced(70 dollars). It does 1-2 cups at a time, and it is not just regular old coffee either, it is frothed, I am not a coffee guy but actually like it. She loves it.

I will look at that one thanks.

The guy I work with said that he wants a coffee machine that pops up a cigarette Like a toaster, with a cup of Joe.

I'd get the coffee machine, just because I dont think I'd be able to drink cappacino everyday like I would be able to drink coffee. We just got a new coffee machine at my work and now I'm addicted to that stuff....not such a good thing considering I drink almost more coffee than anyone else there and I'm the youngest (18).

Update
To whom is concerns
I decided to get a normal drip Mr. coffee machine. I decided that I wanted to experiment with a lot of different flavored beans. Along with the drip machine I got a "French press" coffee maker. The coffee that came out of the French press was outstanding!! It is as good as “Caribou” IMOP. But it takes time to boil the water and 4 min to brew. Anyway now I'm wired.

If you want the best tasting coffee possible you need a French press. No ifs, ands or buts about it.

Congrats on the purchase! When are you gonna start modding her? I hear they make some sweet upgrades like better heater, faster dripperthingy (technical term) and supersteampumpermajob. I got my coffee machine doing 90 cups per minute, anyone wanna race? LOL

French Press definitely brings out the flavor in coffee. A tip when brewing French Press... the water should be right around 195* (which is very hot.. lol). This is the ideal temperature for coffee to disperse the appropriate flavor.
A fun thing to do is pair coffees with different pastries and deserts. Some coffees taste excellent with chocolate, berries, nuts, caramel, etc. We do these pairings often at work (I'm a Barista at Starbucks) If you ever want to find a good combination, stop into a Starbucks location and ask an employee what kinds of coffee taste good with your snack of choice. They'll have some options for you.

If you ever want to get a nice personal espresso machine, I highly recommend the Barista machines. Though a little pricey, I tested one today and it brews excellent espresso shots. You can even get pre-packaged espresso pods so you don't get grounds everywhere!
