I've had Vikings season tickets since the '99 season. We started out in the endzone, upper deck, row 14. A couple years later I moved down one row to 13, and I've been there ever since. Today I got a call from the ticket office saying they have another upgrade available. If I take it, I'll be in the 5th row of the upper deck in the endzone. :D The only problem is that they're $200 more, per seat, per season. :eek: The thing that really sucks is that the 6th row is the price cut off for the higher price. If I was in the 7th row, it would be the same $480 that I'm paying currently. But from the 6th row, upper deck, all the way down to the first row of the lower deck, in the endzone, it's the same $680. Here's a map http://vikingscmap.atomicplaypen.net...ublic/4740.swf

So I would be paying the exact same amount as the guy that sits in the first row of the lower deck. Kind of sucks, but what can you do? :rolleyes: I think I'm going to do it, since I haven't really had an upgrade ever, this would be a nice jump. It's not like I can just pick any seat I want, when I want. If there's a spot open you take it, or someone else will. Survival of the fitest I guess (a concept unknown to the team actually playing on the field. :p )

Yeah, I would do it. Sell the ticket to the packers game and you paid for the upgrade! Let me know if you want to sell any tickets!

Yeah, for sure. I'm going to the packers game ;) , but I'm sure there will be some I can't go to. I'll let you know.

Nov 6th is Detroit vs the Vikings, I'd love to see that game! Or Dec 18th vs Pitt.

Other than that doesn't look like a very fun home game schedule.

You might get some seats in the lower deck before they get to a super bowl.

You were very close to where I sat as well. I have tix in the endzone, upper deck row 17. But, its possible we were on opposite ends of the stadium. No upgrading for us this year.

No shit, I think we are 217 or something like that. My buddy handles the tix, but I will have to find out. I just paid him for this season, I should have asked.

We should meet up at the tailgate lot sometime (if there's any left). We usually do that before the games.

I went ahead with the seat upgrade. I think it'll be worth it.
