I got a big favor to ask of anyone (ECU to borrow?)
 

I would really like to go to cedar falls this saturday and run my car. But my problem is the ECU that is in my car has been acting up alot latley and the car does not like to idle down without stalling out. So what I was hoping for was that maybe there was some very kind person out there with a ECU they were not going to be using this weekend. I really only need it for saturday. Any ECU for a 91-94 will work for me. So if you have a car just sitting not running or just a extra ECU maybe I could borrow it for the day to run at the track? I could get it back to you by sunday.

why not just wait till you have more money.

racing is expensive most of the time.

He sold his good ECU and bought mine which I guess is a little faulty. Someone get this man an ECU for the weekend.

We have one somewhere. I will let you know if we can find it. You would have to pick it up and drop it back off though.

Like cher said I have a ECU I just bought from him. I am pretty sure it just needs new caps. It is not that I could not go buy a new one. Just the fact that I dont really feel like going and spending a couple hundred on a new ECU just for the weekend.

i've got a recapped 91 awd ecu in my garage

you'd have to pick it up and drop it off
and also, you'd have to drive to WisCOWsin to get it.

I have a 93 Eprom AWD ECU you could borrow, currently located at QPR, dont worry its in my car outside QPR. It might be a bit late though. PM me if your interested.

Thanks to Steve I did end up getting a ECU. Although I did not end up going to the track after all. It did take care of the issues I was having with my car though.
