Why are you getting so bent out of shape over this? Are you one of those people that think if its not a $100,000+ Motorex...blah blah blah...Skyline, it isnt a real Skyline? You cant just appreciate the car because its a nice car?

Dude, I'm not mad. I'm just telling the facts. It ended using "Buy It Now" so it never had a chance to finish. Read the feedback the winning bidder left on that auction. Also compare the sellers other auctions versus the skyline one, they don't really add up (especially since the car is in CA and seller is in the UK).
I've extensively looked into buying a skyline so that's why I know that car is not legal. The real owner tried to sell it a couple months ago and listed in the auction it was not legal. I've watched many skyline auctions end early because all cars sold on eBay in the US must be legal. There has only been one Motorex car sold on eBay lately at it was a GTS-T. They even pulled his auction 3 times before he could convince eBay it was a legal car.
No they didn't use $100,000 cars for the reasons you stated, and that's why they didn't use Motorex cars and that's why they aren't technically US legal. I never said I didn't like that car (I'd take it), I just said it wasn't legal.
I was exagerating on the 1 out of 5 auctions being a scam, but it's a lot. So be careful when you buy on eBay.
