Re: Ethanol/E85... what would one need to do?
I dont think the fuel rail or lines need to be bigger unless you need to make rediculous power, in which case I would think you would want to run real race gas and not corn juice. If you are worried about the durability of the factory lines just replace them with something that ethanol doesnt corrode.

Just for the record I'm sure I dont know anything more about running ethanol than the very basic information that has been posted on Style in the past and here in this thread. I'm just playing captain obvious here. You should really be able to figure this stuff out on your own.
You should figure out how much more E85 you need to run as compared to regular gasoline. Now make it a percentage. Then figure out how much power you want to make and find out what power levels people are having to replace things like fuel rails and lines due to lack of flow. Now work your percentage that we came up with earlier and you should be able to solve all of your E85 related questions. Just remember to replace those lines with ethanol resistant material.
