Well what do you know? I get a call from the local po-po this morning and my beloved GVR-4 has been found. After sitting in the parking lot of the F*&^%$#@ tow company for 6 hours waiting for the locksmith and then a flatbed, I got it towed back to my shop. The thieves have been driving it around and were even nice enough to put in a new battery, a factory stereo and give it a wax job! The only thing they took from the car was the replacement steering rack I had in the trunk, the dash vin tag and swapped out my ignition for one with a key for their personal use. The car has no other damage and looks exactly like I had it. The funny thing is it was towed for not having plates on it, I'm not sure if it was abandoned or not, it doesn't sound like it.
Scheides, now you can get off your proscrastinating ass and pick this sweet honey up.
I'll check on the vin tag thing tomorrow. And I'll sweeten the price as well, I don't want this thing sitting around to get stolen again.
