Anybody got some gas saving tips on their dsm?

I was reading an article on when driving around town with windows down and ac off gives better gas mileage and while driving on the highway with windows up and ac on saves gas. Has anybody tested this theory on their dsm to see if it's true?

Here's the link for more tips but I still want to know what you guys do to your dsm for better gas mileage.
