No, they keep my parts: The backplate, compressor wheel & the compressor housing. I get a credit from that. It would cost me $200-250 for the upgrade. Everthing from the center section to the turbine side is reused. They are the same between the 2 turbos. I don't see how I could go wrong.

Because i have a 90* elbow welded on, there is a slim chance they would just convert my cover to the SCM60. It's not that they can't do it but they only doing the housings in groups because of setup times involved with the CNC. If they are not machining a bunch of SCM60 one day, it wouldn't even pay to setup for one cover.
