I've had two tickets for this, super easy to get out of if you want to.

I made the same decision as Chris, I stick to lots and ramps, unless I absolutely have to use a meter. And if I do, I make sure to pay more than enough.

The only time I've gotten tickets for this was in St Paul, never in Mpls or on the highway.
