Well those that have seen me ride know I have a thing with being on one wheel. So i'd be wearing my boots everytime I go out (unless I'm taking it to work). And honestly as long as it's not to hot I'd be wearing my pants to. It's all about being prepared, just in case. So far in the 14K miles I've put on my bike I've never riden it anywhere, where I then walked around alot (other then to work) when I ride I pretty much am out to ride not walk so I'm not to worried about that aspect of boots. Just want them to be comfortable riding and have good protection.
You'll never see me riding with out my helmet, jacket, and for the most part I'm always wearing my gloves too. I did ride twice to meet someone at the entrance of my neighborhood in Rosemount not more then a 1/10th of a mile with out my gear but distance was nothing.
Anyways thanks for the comments. If you guys know of anything else I should look into, safety wise or what ever let me know. I've been also toying with doing some sort of tail light mod but I really don't want to get pulled over for something stupid like lights and am not sure what's ok to do, etc.
At the Tail of the dragon the Tenn HP are pretty much A-holes. And I plan to ride it alot. (just wanted to get all my gear first)
