yup, they sort of have specific waxes for ice... they are temp. specific. For days like this I would reccomend some CH4 (its a cheaper swix wax) and that gets the job done just fine. If you want to be serious get some HF4 but that can be busting the bank at around $90. I learned alot racing. Oh and when scraping it, I would get a smoothe surface and leave a little layer if possible to help it hold out longer on the ice. Just a few tricks I learned ski racing.
oh and supa dupa... i might be out there on friday, for sure tommorow after driving down to lse and then we'll see about friday
