#1) Enes, I did not mean to offend you with anything I said. I did not mean that because you are Muslim, that makes you a terrorist. Each race and religeon (sp) has it's terrorists. Christans had the Nazi's and the KKK, Muslims and people of Islam have Al Queda (sp). There will always be people who use good doctrine to justify evil doings and oppression of others.
#2) I believe that as humans in America, living prosperous and such, it is our responsibility to take care of our fellow man. Sure, fighting a war for oil is wrong, but through it all, no more Saddam. We are living witnesses to history. Forever in History books will our offspring read of our peers putting an end to an oppressive regime, one that ranks with those of Nazi Germany and the Ethnic Cleansing in Yugoslavia. And to defend ourselves. If we had not reacted to September 11, what would we be leaving ourselves open to? "So the infadel does not react when pushed over the edge, why not destroy them all?" We would just be screwing ourselves. I don't wish my religeon on anyone else, it's mine, yours can be yours. But I still feel that it's our humane duty to help those in need. "Blessed is he who in the name of Charity and Good will defend the weak, so and so forth." I do believe that some of the hate doctrine toward the US derives from this, I guess that just goes to show how someone can use a positive message to deliver a negative result. The war with Iraq is a touchy subject, but I guess nothing in life is just Black and White anymore...
I guess with that, this makes $0.04 for me on this thread.
$0.06 if you count the first post.
God Bless America
