Ouch. Well it happens to the best and the worst of us. Thats why I started with piggybacks and then training, then standalones. Everytime I've had to learn something knew it has been on a car I am 100% responsible for.
Timing drift/sync will eat you up at higher rpm. Plus in the beginning I know you were having driveability issues with huge AFR swings as well. Take it as a learning experience and be thankful it wasn't on a REALLY EXPENSIVE motor
