Re: 4b11t going into new RWD Hyundai coupe

You will see that it is common on a lot of cars with returnless fuel systems stock to goto a return system when going for power. SRT-4, 350Z, RSX, newer Mustangs, etc. Upgraded fuel pumps like Walbros are also likely to burn out when put into a returnless setup, but Ford makes some OEM high flow pumps for their returnless FI cars like the GT500 and Ford GT that support a lot of power.

On a boosted car, you need to raise the fuel pressure 1psi for each psi of boost, just to keep the injectors working at their rated flow rate to fight the pressure in the intake. Some cars will try to adjust voltage to the pump to increase fuel pressure, some just run a static pressure which effectively make the injectors smaller and smaller with more boost and are a pain to tune.
