One crank tooth or one tooth on a cam? If it's one tooth on a cam, it will be fine. At the AX class they will encourage you to shift to second early, and leave it in second gear. This will keep the revs lower and be a good way to go. Also with the tensioner tool, it is possible to just de tension the belt fully and skip the timing back into place. I have done it at a dyno day in a parking lot. That car was off 3 cam teeth (1 Crank tooth= 2 Cam teeth) on the exhaust cam. Ran a ton better afterwards.
Also you can make on out of the battery tie down bolt if you still have the stock bolt. You will need to grind off the ears and run a tap up it. It's one or two use only, by will get you by in a pinch.
