power to weight ratio, really, 5 pounds, you talking a difference of .01 change in ratio. .02 if your only running 300 hp. also assuming 3000 pound car.

i think the added reliability for 5 pounds would be worth it, even more for those running n2o

plus the chances of it getting damaged would be for less for a cast unit
