I don't goof off while cruising Midway. But I got my first "NO front license plate ticket" there.
When I got pulled over the officer proceeded to then try to give me a ticket for the White Vinyl I had on the top of my windshield and the top of my Rear Window. Saying it's abstruction of view.
I then showed the cop that my "Sunvisor" actually blocks more of the window then my banner. Due to me being so tall. I then showed him that if you look out the back window you can't even see the rear banner.
He tried again to give me crap. So I said officer would you like to sit in my car and see for your self. I use this front banner because I can see when I use my stock Sunvisor due to that fact that I'm so tall. And the rear banner isn't even visable from inside the car.
Needless to say I talked my way out of the banner thing but still got hit with the no front license plate. (which I just send the money in for, which I shouldn't have, cause it went on my record as a minor moving violation)
So long story short I agree with Chris - it's how the car looks as well as how you conduct yourself with it up at Uni. I just learned to park the car as soon as I get there and don't cruise up and down.
