People that whine about getting tickets while they are doing things that look suspicious or are in an area where there is a lot of illegal activity going on really should step back and take a look at it. If you were the cop, you don't know the punk in the car or what he is up to or might have with him, all you can go by is how he looks and where he is. I would pull most of my friends over based on that as well. That isn't to say all cops are perfect, but saying they are all bad is just as predudiced as you are claiming them to be.

It's not about complaining about getting a ticket that you deserve.
it's about getting a ticket based on guessing. And not fact. It's about venting about problems in the system.
Tom got pulled over for his exhaust sparking. Well if that's the case the cop would have pointed it out and said please get it fixed or something. (like a burnt out headlight)
For the most part cops that actually write up tickets like that are jackass. The tickets usually cost more then the actual fix itself. And hell when it comes to headlights especially if you run fog lights can you honestly catch it right at the time it happens? I've had one go out and I thought it was just my night vision was getting bad or something. (my other light was anged acroos to the other side enough to make it seem like the headlights were working normal)
I got a ticket for it. And was like WTF.
I got another one in my boat. my 360 light worked when I put it in. I then put up the camper which blocks my the view of the light from inside the boat.
Well when I got pulled over the cop sighted me a ticket, fine was $110 which also went on my drivers license. While the cop was still tied up to my boat I pushed the light down into place. And the light turned on. he was like sorry your still getting a ticket.
Do you see my point? It that the police have gotten away from the moto "to protect and to Serve" - and have gone straight to "Show me the money"
I'd rather feel like the police were my friend then be afraid to leave my house in fear of getting a ticket or arrested for something I have no idea about.
