Replacing the hood with a carbon fiber or light fiberglass one makes a difference, as well as replacing all glass with lexan or speedglass. Although a lexan windshield is not street legal. Lighter wheels and lighter brake components reduce unsprung weight, as well as overall weight, a double bonus.
