^^ I have no idea wtf those last two posts are about...
Anyways, today I drove the car over to Mark's to get a more thorough inspection of the car and to start fixing some of the Honda-boy hacks done to the car.
We went to U-pull it today to get a few things, since they had a '91 there. We just thought there may be a few things I could use. Ended up getting a wiper linkage, and a shifter boot since there's a gaping hole where the shifter comes through the floor.
So far we have fixed the wiper motor and broken linkage rod. The previous owner removed the wiper motor and fuckered up the rod that goes from the motor to the wiper pivot.
We also took care of the JDM Drifterboy hood mod (putting spacers under the hood hinges to prop up the back of the hood). Once we got the hood and hinges off, we found out he used a stack of sticky wheel balancing weights and super long bolts to space up the back of the hood. I wish I could have gotten a pic of how amazingly terrible it was when we found the weights under the hinges...
I also got the cowl trim attached better, since there was only one clip holding it on.
Anyways, here's a few pics of the car in the condition I picked it up in.
Amazing ground clearance...
Interior is clean, but needs some work
The engine bay needs a little work too
Most amazing bumper attachment method ever invented...
We still have a long way to go...
