Re: Project S14 240sx
On Saturday morning I went over to the guy's house I got the car from and picked up a few more pieces like the brackets for the rear seat back, various interior trim pieces, glove box, and the stock wing.
So far today I got the back seat and rear dash trim panel back in, still missing the seat belts though. I don't have many spare buts and bolts laying around, and they didn't come with the car so that was about all I was able to do today. Gonna go to Mark's tomorrow and get a few more things taken care of.
From what I've been researching, the speedometer should work if I just plug in the sensor (provided it's there and the harness isn't cut). It still has the auto ECU, so that's why the CEL is on. It throws something like 6 codes and won't idle when the engine isn't at operating temp.
So on the list for tomorrow:
Raise up the coilovers so that the exhaust doesn't drag over every little bump
Try to get the speedo and reverse lights to work
Get the wing re-installed
Get the lower shift boot installed
Get the massive exhaust leak fixed (the header to downpipe only has one bolt holding it together)
List of parts I need to find sooner than later:
Radio bezel and shifter boot and trim panel
Manual ECU
Plastic fender liners
Trunk interior pieces
Passenger side kick panel
