Sorry, I just get tired of seeing groups of cops sitting at interchanges playing "traffic hero" instead of out looking for real problems. You have to realize that when you get pulled over for speeding, it's not about safety, it's not about upholding the law, it's about the state making bank. That's the way it's been for decades, and that's the way it'll stay. I'd honestly rather pay more money to the state via taxes than having to deal with fighting tickets to keep my insurance down.
I'm sure it could be argued that we were being "reckless" or "dangerous" but realistically I'd rather have someone go flying past me who's got racing experience as opposed to someone with no license or insurance who's only been driving for a year, and those're the people who always seem capable of keeping their sorry asses on the roads while we get picked on.
