Remove everything EGR related, lines and solenoids, put a block off plate over the EGR port and let er' buck. You'll have to cap the lines by the gas tank and on the intake manifold and put a breather filter in place of the PCV valve. Follow the vac diagram

if you want the check engine light to go away you'll have to get a scanner to disable the EGR system so the computer ecu doesn't even look for it on start-up

I believe your engine will run cooler with EGR deleted and what not and you'll need 1 degree cooler plugs too, but this is if you delete the entire system.
