The Plasma's have come a long way. From what i have heard the Panasonic's have little to no burn in. My tv aint that old, but it has already had about four 6 hour gaming sessions of Medal Of honor on it. And afterwards not even a hint of burn in. Even so they do have a whitewash type setting that will take care of most of it.

I do realize that every manufacturer is gonna have issues. I was just pointing one out. My Brother in law has also had a bad experience with his Samsung LCD. And i am sure Panasonic has its downsides too. Every place i went here in town Recommended the Panasonic for the Plasma. BUt than again, all I got here, is Best buy, Sears, and walmart.

I also got an extended 4 year warranty on mine just incase anything happens.
