Went to cars and cafe this morning and all was well. Had a nice clean car and got to do my first real test and compare after leaving. Well on the way home my car started to make a funny noise at a light and then died while driving normally. Pulled over tore off the top timing cover to see a loose timing belt

Then pull the valve cover while waiting for the tow truck to come and see all the exhaust rockers were out of place and pulled the plugs to see some not so good news. Once it was home and I had some lunch I started ripping the head off...
Some pretty intense carnage below, not 100% what happened yet. It has had 3k miles and about 3 weeks since I did the timing belt/cams and it made no strange noise during that time or anything that would make me think something is up. Also checked that the pin can still go into the tensioner after spinning the motor over and letting it sit for 20 minutes multiple times just to be sure. Now I'm kind of SOL
Onto the pictures
