No doubt, over the last 4 years, I have had virtually every format of 4G6x (low, and high compression, 2.0, 2.1 standard rod, 2.1 long rod, 2.3, and 2.4) and they have all idled rock solid with 1600cc+ injectors dispensing E60-98 mixtures - no idle control, and a very archaic batch-file stand-alone...
As long as AFR's and timing was
somewhat within expected values, it idled just fine.
