Re: Tim's evo x

Turbo... MAP EF3. I originally thought about putting one on the stock bottom, but I would rather just build it at the same time and get what I can out of the turbo without puckering my cheeks every time I get on it. If I were going stroke/bore I probably would've gone EF4, but for stock displacement, I would rather have the relatively quick spool of the EF3 with pretty good top end potential.

Motor...
MAP ultimate duty rods w/ ARP bolts
Wiseco HD pistons -4.5cc 9:1
ACL main and rod bearings
ARP head studs
Stock crank, stock sleeves, stock bore, just honing. Stock head, valvesprings, and cams for now. Will likely do cams and valvesprings over winter.

Ron will be building and installing it. For what he quoted, it is really hard to say no and do it myself.

It is also getting shep diff pins while we're in there.

I am hoping I can swing a twin disc too, but I will be pushing it. Trying to find a deal there. The comp 3 does not seem to like 5500 2step launching.
