lol, yeah I had one hell of a weekend, that's for damn sure. my shoulder is still sore as shit. but I guess getting hit with a 10lb dead blow hammer does that :P
my buddy ended up not being able to go last minute.
"work related issues". so didn't get a chance to race him, so since he wasen't there I didn't run it.
he has a 90's 5.0 that he put over 5k into and we had a bet going who would win in a 1/4.I told him I would take him without having to spend anything close to what he did on his build(had a lot of go fast parts left over from my 99 2.3 gst build)
so he lost by forfeit I guess. which works out. it was only a 100 buck bet and supplying beer and food for the weekend to the winner. more or less bragging rights.
I managed to solve and clean up a lot of the issues I was having with the gsx. the new throttle body solved the issue I had with idle surge.
found a huge crack in the front intercooler caused by rubbing on the front cross member that good ol jb weld sealed.
then had Auston green remote tune for me, which worked out really well.
