Re: 94 TSi AWD - Reliable 11 second DD

Thanks! it definitely isn't perfect but its better than a lot of them anymore.

I actually just talked about the car a lot today with my buddy Eric the first time we got in depth talking about it. He bought it stock in like 03-04 or something and ended up with a GT35R/stock motor setup that was probably around 450-500whp. He had it painted a year or so before he sold it.

I need to get the rear bumper repainted though, has big piece of paint missing from someone hitting it at school this last semester. Got quoted $200 so hopefully will get it done in the next year.

Anyways tonight I pulled the tank. Think I'm going to spend some time on the rear and area in general to clean it up and look at bushing shape since even though a lot of suspension was all new at 144k, the whole rear area as you can see from the below pics looks like it could use attention/cleaning/refurbishing.

Also pulled the alternator/wastegate/fuel rail/injectors. Going to warranty my alternator for the 4th time since I've had the car, advance keeps giving me shit alternators, this one has charged fine but the pulley makes noise. Putting my injectors up for sale. Tomorrow I'll pull the bumper to get the intercooler & piping all out to give it to my buddy to weld beads along the edges so hopefully next time at the track i wont blow the piping off again. He's also going to just weld new studs in the tank for me, so it'll actually be done right. I've been tuning his turbo gy6 mini razor atv, so he's doing it for free. Pretty stoked

Checked the 16g for play, still like new - little sucker is definitely being good to me.

anyone want to buy some injectors?! freshly cleaned and serviced. $195 shipped!
