Allan is right, at least about why I didn't want to use the wisecos as shipped anymore. What really pissed me off was their lousy attitude about getting ones that didn't have extra indents all over the top. They said I would have to order custom sets and wait 4-5 weeks as well as spend another 150-200 per set for them to leave the stupid marks off. And they were pretty crappy to talk to.

There are a huge number of pistons on the market that work well. I will tell you which ones I don't like. Besides the wisecos, I am not a fan of Ross or as Jet mentioned the JE's. There are many reasons for me not liking either from the things they lack to problems they have. Venolia, CP, Arias etc are all fine and will work with you on custom setups. We are switching to a piston manufacturer that at the moment I will not disclose to anyone other than our customers or potential customers. The design is much better and on every engine tested, they have been proven to add substantial power gains. If you are considering having us build your engine, call or come down and I will run through the facts and info for you.
