Not quite what I'm going for, for me it's more about sitting flush with wheel lips. I've always hated that the rear wheels sit farther inboard relative to the fender lip than the front, even more so with my shortened rear lower control arms done before there was any sort of camber adjustment made for 1G's.
It's good to know not all of your styling is from the 80's .

I do remember having a 7.5" rear wheel with a +32 offset being kinda flush-er than your avg wheel. This is what i was using when I bought my new wheels......

It helped a lot in all of the wheel options' flushnesses when looking at other people's wheel setups.
