You might be better off trying to find a job somewhere that you can take the bus to (if thats available in your area). No matter what though, all insurance companies generally require at least a 2-month payment in advance for all new policies so you'd be looking at $355 minimum.
Luckily, my grandpa is paying the first 3 months of insurance for me. So I have a little time to save up as much as I can, and possible pay the other three months ASAP. I don't have much of a choice. There is no bus that runs from my house to my school. So Monday, I'll be spending ALL day finding whatever job I can that I can get AT LEAST $200 every two weeks. Not that hard. I made $7/hr at Coldstone and got $200 every two weeks. But I know I can find better than that even, so I think I should be ok. I'll be back to being the definition of a broke college student, but as long as I'm in school and working, I'm making my dad and grandpa happy, so OH WELL.
