That is pretty cool, seems like it would make sense to have some mechanical arm or hydraulic slowly put the piece into the water though, so you could avoid the wavy lines from hand movements.

Seems pretty inexpensive compared to real CF or paint work, I may have to give a few interior plastic pieces a go at this, now to find someone in Des Moines who does this.
