Which one is better then the other? and i know that the fp 18g bolts up to my manifold but what about the greddy 18g, does it bolt up to my mitsu manifold too or will it not?? reason why i'm asking is because my buddy has a greddy 18g turbo and he is selling it to me for a good price. any help will do and if this topic has been beaten to death I'm sorry couldn't find it anywhere. and thanks ahead of time. please help LOL.....

Does the FP 18G have the SL2 turbine wheel? If so, its probably better. The greddy 18g...any idea what turbine housing is on it? If you don't know, I'd be enclined to SKIP BOTH and get a basic evo3 16g, brand new. Skip the BS.

Also, moved to Turbo Tech. Not a Project yet

Re: help needed fp18g or greddy 18g turbo

Sorry about that. The FP 18g is the sl2 turbine wheel. The greddy turbine housing is TDO5H. But I'm getting a kick ass deal out of the greddy 18g tho. Still in good condition no shaft play at all? it was in his JDM b18c for 1 week and he blew his motor so he just want the money to buy new piston. he wants $200 for it only. Nothing wrong with it what so ever just a little rust on the wastegate. I have the E3 16g and don't get me wrong and all I love it, But want to try a little something bigger not to big but bigger with a little more hi-way top end also street too LOL and the 20g is way to out of the price range and the 50trim is too big and not to much of a street turbo for my GST.

Get a picture of it. Post it up. The 18g is not a stock turbo on an integra, so who knows what it is

Re: help needed fp18g or greddy 18g turbo

like what Scheides said, get a pic and I'm sure we could tell. I'm leaning towards that the greddy turbo won't fit on your stock manifold. If by anychance, just get the FP18g.

That's a t3 hot side. It won't bolt up to your stock manifold without an adapter.

Re: help needed fp18g or greddy 18g turbo

You would need to get a manifold adapter, new lines (water lines, oil lines) and somehow get you're downpipe to bolt up to that o2 housing. I don't think it's worth it. In the end you could have a bolt on turbo that cost's the same that is just as good as that turbo. Save yourself some work and possibly money.

Re: help needed fp18g or greddy 18g turbo

I'd say you're better off getting a t3 manifold instead of a dumb adapter plate that will probably leak exhaust, trust me I had a stock manifold that was ported out square, plus a plate and all that BS. Either get a mitsu housing or a t3 manifold for that guy.

Re: help needed fp18g or greddy 18g turbo

Should have gone with the FP 18g. It would have been way easier to install, and still would make the same power. By the time you get done buying all the needed parts to install this turbo, you'll have probably spent more than if you had just gotten the FP. (Assuming you already bought the Greddy turbo)
