Ford deserves to go out of business.

Shitty. But Navistar cant risk it all for a company that is billions in the hole.

I have to give props to Ford for doing a total make over on almost all of their fleet, its just too bad they were so far in the red to start with.

I don't see how Ford can make up for all those losses they incurred. They pissed off one of their main suppliers for their bread and butter line - a big no-no. Now they will definately feel their mistake and lose their foothold in the heavy duty pickup market.

At least they're not making the 6.0 anymore.

The new 6.4 is going to be an even bigger cluster.

Re: 2008 Ford Super Duty Trucks

Holy shit... Navistar shits out 400 engines a day.. Thats 16 an hr, and its not even peak.

1060 a day peak is damn near 45 engines an hr! Now they are haulin ass.

Ford fucked up again.

On a side note... Allen, you might as well start modding the 6, Ford wont be around much longer to warranty it! Hahaha.

Yeah, thats a pretty outstanding number. From the sound of it, they dont expect the issue to have a major impact on production as they expect resolve within 30 days....

Not that I am a big Ford backer or anything, but why do you say that?

I thought the same thing when I first heard about it coming out but after reading into it a little more I dont think it will be much of an issue. Of course though, with more components there is the possibility of more problems.

Obviously with all the R&D they have logged millions of miles with these engines before they even decided on the final setup.

I know you are going to ask me for proof so I will say this right away, I didnt save any links So, if you care to read up on it I would suggest google.

I'm basing my rip on the 6.4 design on the fact that the 6.0 has been nothing but a piece of shit since it came out. As for proof on the 6.4 R&D, it's all good.
