boost gauge problem

I jumped in my car today and to my surprise the needle on the boost gauge fell off and is just laying inside the glass of the guage. If I take this appart, will it just snap back on? It is an autometer procarbon ultralite gauge.

If not, does autometer carry a waranty?

thanks

Re: boost guage problem

I have never heard of that happening before hahaha.

Give autometer a call, I know people who have gotten their boost gauges replaced for free because the needle wasn't completely resting on 0 when off.

What your rest at zero. I got ripped off.

When did you purchase your gauge? Total is right just give them a call. It would not hurt unless you bought the gauge used.

Mine is slightly ahead of 0, it doesn't bother me so I haven't called them. I'm sure if it gets any worse, I will call them.

I doubt they will do anything but it is worth a shot. Otherwise just superglue it back on if you want. I would just spend the money and get a new one though.

Re: boost guage problem

In case anybody was wondering, I called them and they said that they would repair it for free. I sent it in about three days ago. I will let you all know what the end result is and how long it took to get back.

Re: boost guage problem

hey, just wanted to let you guys know that I recieved a package today from autometer and to my surprise they had sent me a brand new in box boost gauge. I mean it is brand new, with all the fittings and tubing that you would need to hook it up. Very quick turn arround time.
