Re: my engine swap

well isaac , swapping it over cuz it will be cheaper then rebiulding my old motor, which sounds alot like a spun bearing, and no chance on a new clutch as the one in there is a spec stage 3+ with maybe 1500 miles on it, the fly is a RPS CYN-R-G flywheel with the same amount of miles on it. the trans has the same miles on it

Re: my engine swap

Are you going to run stock once you swap it? You shouldn't need engine management untill you upgrade to larger injectors.

I thought that was weird why it has the ES body parts. Do you have progress pics of the swap? A little history on the car?

The car is a ES and my buddy did the VR4 awd swap in to the ES. There was alot of work that when in to doing the swap and there are pics of it to and I know you are thinking why not just get a VR4. Will for what I know the ES is a lot lighter then the VR4 and even with the swap its still lighter. The VR4 parts car ran 12's with out really pushing it.

Oh no doubt, the es would be missing many of the options that the vr4's came with. Is it much the same as a 2g fwd to awd swap?

Re: my engine swap

ok having some issues we're noticing some differences between the 2 engines. they are both supposed to be '93s but one of them is missing a few wires that the other one hass anyone have any ideas i can explain what they are if you know what you're talking about.

otherwise we got the flywheel and the clutch transferred over still having some issues getting the trans on... um any hints would help alot

Hey dude, I like the progress! You should paint the rest of the bay while the motor is out.

Re: my engine swap

You should check out MN3s, they might be a little more help. There aren't very many 3s guys here.
