Missing a little "bed" time...

So I have a clean rust free 420a that runs great and I am missing owning a truck. I grew up with a half ton Chevy but I'd gladly use something like this: http://stcloud.craigslist.org/ctd/5183569295.html
as a daily until I can swap all the parts from my current daily DSM which I have no reason to take apart, except I want my perfect shell to be my final and complete DSM I've always wanted. So I'm not finding much help in the area of manual swap info for these and that's all I want for the time being in a truck like that. Anybody on here from that area wanna check it out? Just rambling and thinking about shifting a few vehicles around and getting rid of 2 chassis and winding up with only 2 running cars. Thanks!

Yea I think this has surface rust underneath but whatever it'll be a daily and I don't want to worry about it. I'll see where the price goes on these for a bit before I ever go look at it.

That thing is priced at about twice what I would give for it.

Well I got a deal since Anna as well as a good friend of mine both work for Carousel motor group which this dealer is a part of. So it's now home and I absolutely love it! I will likely be redialing in idle and maybe switching to a firmer torque converter. Otherwise I'm super happy with it!

I would've bought a Tahoe for that money, but that's me.

Re: Missing a little "bed" time...

I kinda get a little attached to this type of truck for sentimental reasons but also cause I'm a sucker for either a little truck, or a prerunner long travel truck. Mud trucks don't do it for me and most street trucks including SUV's are just plain gas hogs with zero purpose other than claiming to be able to do work. I have grown up with a full size chevy truck, two vans, tahoe, and more and I've been there done that. It was $500 above cost plus taxes and BS so $3400ish. That's about 1300 more than the median price in Tampa for a clean one but this one is already here, and more importantly, has only 79K on it so I have lots of life left in it. And yea the color is sorta special I've found
